Trainee must hold a Class 2 NZ Learner licence (2L)
You will receive 1 ½ hours of driver training in a class 2 vehicle.
Unit Standard 24089– Demonstrate Knowledge of Fatigue Management, Work Time, and Driver Logbook Requirements – Level 3 with 5 credits.
Due to a Reassessment required if unable to complete on the day then an additional cost will occur of $500 + GST and new booking date required.
Unit Standard 17574– Operate a Rigid Vehicle for a Full Class 2 Driver Licence – Level 3 with 7 credits.

You will receive 1 ½ hours driver training. Then a 1 ½ hour practical assessment will follow.

Notes: All Unit Standards incorporate an Activity Booklet which must be completed on the day of training. Pre-course study materials for each Unit Standard are given to assist with candidate pre-knowledge.
After successful completion of both theory and practical assessments an NZTA Licence Endorsement Certificate is issued which must be produced to any VTNZ Agency for licence registering. VTNZ fee is not included.
All unit standards completed will be registered and recorded with NZQA and placed on personal Records of Achievements.
If the allocated time frame for each theory session is exceeded there may be additional charges.
The course fee includes 1 ½ hours driver training prior to assessment. If additional driver training is required to get up to assessment standard this is charged at $180 + GST per hour for Class 2 or $230 + GST for Class 4 and 5. If the assessment drive is failed there is a re-drive fee of $180 + GST and a minimum of 1 hour driver training is required prior to a re-assessment.
