Founded by William (Macca) McMillan in 2015, our business is rooted in military expertise and real-world experience.
Under the leadership of Director Eugene (Gene) Tuatini, we are dedicated to the ongoing growth and success of the business.

Our Team

William (Macca) McMillan

Trainer/Sales

I started the business in 2015 at my home in Waiuku. My driver training started in the military where I served for 20 years.

I now focus on WorkSafe forklift training, Hiab, Class 1, Street Talk Defensive Driving, Caravan and Motorhome Theory and Practical Training.

I enjoy the interaction with our clients and meeting prospective clients.

Gene Tuatini

Trainer/Assessor

Joined Maccas Industry Training in 2019. Learning and achieving qualifications as a trainer / assessor. Following my qualifications I was appointed Director / Share Holder of the business.

Thank you to Macca ( Poppa) who believed that I could take the business to the next step of my journey.

I am dedicated to the growth of the business and working alongside an awesome team and we pride ourselves on our service to all our customers.

Richard Dodd

Trainer/Assessor

I have been with Macca’s Industry Driver Training since March 2021.

When I left school, I did an apprenticeship working on trucks, agricultural and heavy machinery.
This included time in the Military, line haul driving, metro work, and some off-road machine operating.

In 1992 I qualified as a driver trainer. I did my I Endorsement and went on to teach others to be Instructors.
Also did truck and heavy machinery training and worked for the Military as a contractor.

I had my own business teaching Class 1 and motorcycles.
My key passion remains seeing others achieve in the industry.

Lanice McMillan

Sales & Marketing

I have come from Apparel Retail, Duty Free, Civil Construction & Earthmoving/Health and Safety and the Building Industry.

My background experience and knowledge has been in corporate management with a focus on customer service and now I bring my skills, experience and knowledge to Maccas Industry Training in Sales and Marketing.

My role includes
To manage Pipeline under CRM system
Involved in Website / Initiatives / Branding
New business – Meetings. Company events.

Rachel Rhodes

Administrator

I have been with Macca’s Industry Driver Training since November 2020 as the office administrator.

In this role, I ensure the smooth and efficient running of our office. My daily tasks include managing course bookings, handling communication via email and phone, supporting team members and managing accounts receivable and payable.

I enjoy working with customers and suppliers, making sure they receive excellent service and have a fantastic experience with Macca’s Industry Driver Training.
