Macca’s Industry Driver Training Terms and Conditions Policy

 

IN THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS…

‘Customer’, ‘Customers’ includes any person registering for a service from Macca’s Industry Driver Training.

‘Service’, ‘Services’ means any service that is provided by Macca’s Industry Driver Training relating to courses.

‘We’ and ‘Us’ and ‘Our’ means Macca’s Industry Driver Training;

‘You’, ‘Your’ and ‘Trainee’ means a Customer;

‘Website’ means the Macca’s Industry Driver Training at URL www.maccasdrivertraining.co.nz;

CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to update our Terms and Conditions from time to time.

COURSE COSTS

All costs stated on our website include 15% GST.

The prices published on the Website are subject to change without notice.

COSTS NOT INCLUDED

Any fees relating to pre-requisites are not included in the course cost.  Application fees to have licence endorsement added to the drivers licence are not included in the course cost.

PAYMENT TERMS – ‘INDIVIDUALS’

DEPOSIT

Truck courses – $500 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your spot on your chosen course.

All other courses – $200 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your spot on your chosen course.

FULL PAYMENT

Full payment for all courses is required at five business day prior to your course start time. 

Payment must be made via bank deposit into the following bank account.

Reference:                    Your name and course date

We are unable to accept Cash payments.

PAYMENT TERMS FOR ‘ON ACCOUNT’

Our payment terms are 7 days after date of invoice.

On account contracts may vary if negotiated between both parties. 

Macca’s Industry Driver Training reserve the right to charge 5% interest per month on unpaid invoices at our discretion.  Customers are responsible for paying any debt collection costs for the collection of unpaid invoices, including legal fees and filing fees.

REFUND /CANCELLATION POLICY

Notify us 7 days or more before your course and we will refund your deposit less a $79 admin fee.

Notify us 2 business days before your course and we will refund you half of your deposit.

Notify us within 2 business days of your course and your deposit is non-refundable.

Once full payment has been made, any cancellations within 1 business day of your course will result in 100% cancellation fee (eg. you must cancel prior to 7.30am on a Friday if your course starts on a Monday).  Rescheduling at the time of cancellation to a new date will be permitted if proof of exceptional circumstances is provided, EG. medical certificate, death certificate or the like.

A re-drive fee applies if your practical examination is failed.

A re-course fee applies if your course allocated times are exceeded.

FAILURE TO ATTEND COURSE

Failure to attend a course will result in a ’No Show’ status. All ‘No Shows’ will be charged 100% cancellation/reschedule fee.

TRAVEL

Macca’s Industry Driver Training will send our assessors out to your location for training sessions and courses at your request.  Minimum numbers are required for each course held onsite, and travel and accommodation fees may apply dependent on location.  Our team will confirm these costs with you at the time of enquiry or booking.

COURSE PRE-REQUISITES

You accept full responsibility for failure to adhere to any course pre-requisites. This includes, but is not limited to, having the correct class of licence required, completing and returning course paperwork and evidence of competency.  Failure to meet the pre-requisites may result in additional fees.  Pre-requisites are outlined on our website.

SPECIAL ASSISTANCE

Macca’s Industry Driver Training must be advised if the student has any special requirements including but not limited to health, literacy and cultural requirements. Where a reader/writer is required, it is the Customer’s responsibility to supply one. The reader/writer cannot be another student attending the same course or a family member. 

PPE

It is a requirement on some courses for students to wear Hi Vis, safety boots/shoes and hard hats.  This requirement will be stated on the booking confirmation and if not adhered to may result in the student being removed from the course and fees may be applied for rebooking.

PRIVACY POLICY

Information collected by Macca’s Industry Driver Training will only be used for the purpose of the training supplied and will not be sold or given to 3rd parties.
