NOTE: At completion of training the trainer can accompany the trainee to VTNZ to sit their 2L test if required at an additional cost of $100 + GST.

Our pre-examination course is designed to help each individual driver better equip themselves with knowledge and
understanding of the Class 2 license to increase their confidence prior to completing their full Class 2 HT driver’s license
assessment.
With the help of our trainers, they will receive a greater overview of theory knowledge which is a crucial part for achieving their
full Class 2 licence, along with a 1 ½ -hour practical training session, which entails a 30-minute detailed overview and inspection
of the truck. Going over all precheck requirements before commencing one-hour of on-road driver training.

Fatigue Management, Logbook Entries, Correct Loading Procedures, Permitted Legal Driving Requirements, Legal Document
identification, Penalties and Fines.

Class 2 Driver Training
Course cost: $207*
Duration: 1 Hours
Driver training also consists of vehicle pre-checks, vehicle document checks, under hood inspections, external checks, electrical checks brakes and steering.
On road driver training consists of gear changing, brake control, intersection approaches using gears and brakes, search and scanning techniques, following distances, steering control and hand positions, reversing to a 90 degree At the completion of driver training your trainer will brief you on your performance and determine if more driver training is needed.
If further driver training is required, your trainer will assist you to book an appropriate day and time.
