V – Endorsement
Course Pre-requisites
You must have held a full class 1 NZ licence for at least 2 years to be eligible to obtain a V endorsement
Must have completed Unit Standard 24089 with in the last 12 months
Course cost: $747*
Duration: 6 Hours
Day 1 Theory Assessment
Unit Standard 17580 – Demonstrate knowledge of driver requirements for endorsement V (vehicle recovery) – Level 3 with 2 credits.
Upon Completion
On successful completion of both theory and practical tests a NZTA Licence Endorsement Certificate is issued which must be presented to a VTNZ agency to have the V placed on drivers’ licenses.
Note – These courses are NZTA Approved with all results being forwarded to Mito to be recorded on personal Records of Achievements.

Unit Standard 24089– Demonstrate Knowledge of Fatigue Management, Work Time, and Driver Logbook Requirements – Level 3 with 5 credits.
Day 2
Theory Assessment
Unit Standard 17580 – Demonstrate knowledge of driver requirements for endorsement V (vehicle recovery) – Level 3 with 2 credits.
Upon Completion
